You can see exactly when the eye itself comes through here:
http://weatherspark.com/#!dashboard;ws=33752

Max gust 50.4m/s. That's 98 knots or 113 mph so that was
an excellent forecast!
A temperature of 24°C with a 113 mph wind. That must be
an 'interesting' experience. I wonder what the wind chill on
that is and what it 'feels like' :)

Webcam still running, METARS still reporting. Don't often see that as a
hurricane passes.

http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/TXKF.html

922mb the lowest pressure on the METAR.

I suspect that is a mistake as it is sandwiched between hourly readings of 982 and 980 MB.
20MB fall in pressure in the hour from 23.00 to 00.00 UTC and 21 MB rise between 06.00 and 07.00 UTC. The eye seems to have passed around 00.00.
93 mph wind at 03.00 !

72.4mm of rain at Bermuda airport from 12z yesterday to today, looking
at the 24 hour rainfall total from the synop.

I notice the webcam has gone down atm, but the METARS continued
throughout the period and the synops only missed 6z this morning.

Some people think they're oatso clever, picking on how words have been
spelt, sitting there with a rice mile on their pastry face. Crumbs I
feel sour. Doh!

Bravo Graham. I'm a gluten for punishment and would like to carry on but I'm out of ideas. The only crumb of comfort is I lost to the champion of buns. At yeast I gave it a go. You have proved a worthy opponent.
